Construction Project Engineer

Construction Project Engineer:

We are looking for a project engineer to support the preconstruction and estimating team. This role will work directly with seasoned assistant estimators and estimators to prepare estimates ranging from conceptual to detailed estimating. This position helps prepare for pre-bid jobsite meetings, preliminary construction schedules, RIFs, RFQs, and other project documents. Calling subcontractors for multiple bids and cultivating relationships with vendors is a big part of the position.

The Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or technical institute degree (recommended)

1 to 3 years in commercial construction and estimating experience (recommended)

Proficient in desktop publishing, estimating, and scheduling software skills

Able to read, understand, and interpret drawings and specifications

Able to manage multiple projects at one time

Self-directed with a high level of initiative

Able to successfully work within a team

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
