Construction Project Coordinator

LHH Recruitment is partnering with a construction company in North Phoenix who is looking for a project coordinator to join their small team. This is a fully onsite role working directly alongside the company owners in a small, close-knit office environment located in their casita. The salary range is between $65,000-$80,000.

The ideal candidate is professional, adaptable, proactive, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced construction setting. Strong administrative coordination skills, job costing knowledge, and payroll experience are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support day-to-day construction project operations
• Assist with project scheduling, documentation, tracking, and communication
• Maintain project files, contracts, invoices, purchase orders, and related documentation
• Support job costing activities and monitor project expenses
• Process payroll and assist with timesheet review and tracking
• Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams
• Track project progress and help ensure deadlines are met
• Assist with change orders, permits, bid documents, and project reporting
• Support the owners directly with administrative and operational tasks
• Maintain accurate records and ensure organization across multiple active projects

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction coordination, project administration, or construction office support required
• Experience with job costing and payroll processing strongly preferred
• Experience using Bluebeam and/or Procore preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and follow-through skills
• Comfortable working in a small, owner-operated environment
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction-related software systems
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
