We are seeking several reliable and detail-oriented Construction Materials Testing Technicians to join our team in Phoenix and in the Prescott area too. This role is essential for ensuring the quality and safety of construction projects through rigorous on-site testing of soil, concrete, and asphalt. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in standard test methods and a commitment to maintaining accurate, professional project documentation. Key Responsibilities
On-Site Testing: Perform standard field tests on soil, concrete, and asphalt to verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain neat and orderly project documents, including test reports, field data, and professional correspondence.
Technical Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Project Manager and Supervisor regarding all aspects of field operations.
Equipment Management: Utilize and maintain specialized testing equipment, ensuring all field data is recorded accurately.
Required Qualifications & Education
Experience: 15 years of previous experience specifically in soil and concrete testing.
Pay: $20-$28
Technical Knowledge: A thorough understanding of standard test methods (ASTM/AASHTO) for all tests performed by a field technician.
