Construction Laborer

I have direct hire Laborer positions in the Montgomery County area with a residential remodeling and design/build construction company specializing in custom renovations, additions, kitchens, bathrooms, hands-on residential construction projects.

LABORER-JOB DESCRIPTION (7:00AM to 3:30PM Monday through Friday)

• Assist carpenters and skilled tradespeople with remodeling and renovation tasks
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials such as wood, drywall, and other building components
• Perform demolition, site preparation, and cleanup duties
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Help with framing, drywall installation, trim work, cabinetry, and finishing tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of construction, carpentry, or general labor experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of construction methods, tools, and materials
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow instructions accurately
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs), stand for long periods, and perform manual labor
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Must be able to speak English
• Must be able to travel throughout Montgomery County
• Must be 18 years of age or older
