This is your chance to join our dynamic team and help us to design the critical infrastructure that improves our world!WRA is currently seeking qualified Resident Construction Inspectors (RCI's) for sewer and water pumping station facility construction projects in the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area. The RCI is responsible for providing daily construction management and inspection services for pumping station facilities including new construction and rehabilitation or upgrades including mechanical, electrical and control systems and related yard piping and civil site improvements.Responsibilities:Performing full time, on-site inspections and documentation to monitor the contractor's work for compliance with the contract documentsPreparing daily and weekly reports on work accomplished by Contractor(s)Coordinating and observing materials testing and maintaining testing logsReviewing periodic pay estimates for accuracy with Contractor(s)Preparing sketches and assembling data for Owner or Engineer's use in making changes to the projectKeeping diaries and making reports on work accomplished and/or noted deficienciesCommunicating with the Engineer, Owner and Operations Personnel on a regular basis keeping them apprised of field conditions, changes and maintaining effective communications and rapport with the Facility Owner and the entire construction project team throughout the construction phaseRequirements:Associates Degree in Construction Management or Civil/Environmental Engineering required, Bachelor's Degree (BSCE) preferredMust have demonstrated experience as a Resident Inspector on sanitary sewer or water pumping stations construction ($1M- $10M range)Must have a proven track record of successfully completing construction assignmentsExcellent communication skills, including written and verbal communicationFamiliarity w/ Primavera or Microsoft construction scheduling softwareFamiliarity with construction management software including eBuilder, Oracle Unifier or Procore.Proficiency with MS Windows, Project, Word and ExcelClean driving record and background checkOSHA safety training and/or certification preferredFamiliarity with mechanical, electrical and control systemsSediment & erosion control certificationMaterial testing certifications desirable including WACEL or MARCTPRequired Submission Materials:Resume / CVA listing of specific, similar project experience demonstrating experience performing the required duties must be included.
