The City of Leavenworth is seeking qualified, motivated applicants to perform a wide variety of routine technical engineering related work in the area of construction inspection, interpretation of plans and specifications, documentation of construction activities, and other related engineering work for either a Construction Inspector I or Construction Inspector II, depending on experience.

Construction Inspector I

• Min. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, at least 1 year general construction experience, KDOT Inspector Certification within 2 years, and a valid drivers license.
• Anticipated Salary Range: $43,081 - $53,851 (dependent on qualifications and experience).

Construction Inspector II

• Min. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, at least 2 years general construction experience, KDOT Inspector Certification within 1 year, and a valid drivers license.
• Anticipated Salary Range: $44,804 - $56,005 (dependent on qualifications and experience).
