This role is responsible for leading the overall construction operation with direct accountability for financial performance, project execution, team leadership, and business growth. The Construction General Manager works closely with field leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably, and to a high standard of quality while supporting long -term growth of the division.<\/span>
<\/p>

This is a hands -on leadership role for someone who understands construction from the field to the balance sheet and enjoys building strong teams, systems, and client relationships.<\/span>

Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/b>

Financial & P&L Leadership<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

  • Own and manage full profit and loss responsibility for the construction division<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Review job costing, margins, and financial performance on a monthly basis<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Approve and review purchase orders<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Control costs through effective labor planning, scheduling, and inventory management<\/span>
    <\/li><\/ul>
    <\/span><\/b>
    <\/div>

    Operations & Team Leadership<\/span><\/b>
    <\/p>

    • Partner with the Field Superintendent to oversee day -to -day field operations<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Lead workforce planning, including hiring, staffing levels, and backlog coverage<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Manage employee performance, development, compensation reviews, and growth plans<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Address employee issues in a timely, fair, and professional manner<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and teamwork<\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul>
      <\/span><\/b>
      <\/div>

      Project Oversight<\/span><\/b>
      <\/p>

      • Provide oversight of all roofing installations and construction projects at the location<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Attend jobsite meetings, walkthroughs, and site visits to ensure quality and progress<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Oversee project submittals, material procurement, progress billings, and closeout documentation<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Ensure projects are executed according to schedule, budget, and company standards<\/span>

        Sales & Business Development<\/span><\/b>
        <\/p>

        • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers<\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Develop new business through local associations, networking, and industry involvement<\/span>

        • Support ongoing project procurement through general contractors and building owners<\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Act as a trusted partner and representative of the company in the local market<\/span>
