Construction Foreman – Civil & Concrete Projects

Skilled Trades Partners is currently recruiting for a direct hire opportunity with a well-established and rapidly growing concrete and civil construction company in the Columbia, SC area. Our client has built a strong reputation for quality workmanship, team culture, and long-term project stability, and they are looking to add an experienced Construction Foreman to their team.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can effectively manage crews, maintain productivity, and keep projects moving safely and efficiently from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of field crews
- Oversee civil and concrete job site operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications
- Ensure projects stay on schedule while maintaining quality standards
- Enforce job site safety procedures and company policies
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and workforce needs with management
- Lead by example and maintain strong communication on-site
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Foreman
- Strong background in civil construction and concrete work
- Ability to lead crews and manage day-to-day field operations
- Experience reading blueprints and coordinating project tasks
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation and dependable work ethic
