The primary function of the Technical Environmental Services Foreman is to coordinate and supervise their team of crew members. The foreman will be responsible for training new workers and will work closely with property owners and building tenants to coordinate construction work. They will also create and maintain construction schedules, manage, and train staff; ensure construction equipment is properly maintained; and keep projects on schedule and within allotted budgets. This is a non-exempt position reporting to the Manager of Technical Environmental Services.
Essential Job Functions:
- Read project plans, drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
- Create and manage schedules and monitor attendance of the crew.
- Oversee construction sites and supervise the safe use of machinery and equipment.
- Delegate responsibilities and tasks to crew members, contractors, and other workers according to priorities and plans.
- Emphasize safe use of all tools and equipment and enforce the proper use of PPE, like helmets and goggles.
- Manage employees to ensure the project is kept on schedule.
- Work in a team-oriented environment with cross departmental collaboration.
- Follows company quality, safety and environmental guidelines as well as employee handbook policies.

- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Able to lift 60 pounds of necessary equipment; Able to push and pull 75 pounds.

Qualifications/Experience/Education:
- Pass pre-employment 7-year background check.
- Valid driver's license.
- Experience in a supervisory or related role
- Proven leadership skills.
- Ability to drive projects to fruition on time and within budget.
- Ability to hire, train, and supervise workers.
- Expertise in sourcing and supervising construction materials, such as tools and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
