About Us

ComCrete, Inc. is a growing specialty construction subcontractor serving the Pacific Northwest. We specialize in gypsum underlayment systems, self-leveling underlayments, sound control systems and moisture mitigation for residential, multifamily, and commercial construction.

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with previous construction industry experience who is eager to learn, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited to grow into a lead estimating role within our company. Previous estimating experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong construction background.

This is a full-time, in-office position located in Snohomish, WA. This is not a remote or hybrid position.

We are a small business with a close-knit team where every employee plays an important role in the success of the company. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a collaborative office environment and is comfortable occasionally visiting active construction jobsites to support project operations.

This position requires someone who is:

  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Able to prioritize, multitask, and manage multiple bids, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality. Reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Flexible with work hours as project deadlines require. Typical hours are Monday through Friday; however, some days may require longer hours while others may end earlier depending on workload.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Professional when communicating with customers, vendors, field personnel, and general contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Download, organize, and review construction plans, specifications, addenda, and bid documents using QuickEye and other construction management software.
  • Review construction drawings and specifications.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs using QuickEye and calculate material quantities using Microsoft Excel.
  • Prepare accurate proposals for management review.
  • Send and organize proposals.
  • Communicate with general contractors regarding bids, project information, and scope clarifications.
  • Draft correspondence and other business documents using Microsoft Office.
  • Prepare and submit product submittals as directed.
  • Order materials and coordinate deliveries.
  • Track inventory and material usage for projects using Microsoft Excel.
  • Coordinate daily schedules with construction crews using Microsoft Outlook and company calendars.
  • Communicate daily with field crews by phone, email, and text.
  • Maintain vendor relationships.
  • Assist with scheduling maintenance for company vehicles and equipment.
  • Maintain project files, filing systems, and office records.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers, vendors, and contractors.
  • Assist with maintaining company safety documentation and compliance.
  • Support day-to-day office operations and administrative functions as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Previous experience working for a construction contractor or subcontractor is required.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and other computer software.
  • Ability to learn new software and company processes.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take on new responsibilities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Construction estimating or bidding experience.
  • Experience reading construction blueprints and specifications.
  • Experience performing quantity takeoffs and material calculations.
  • Project coordination or construction office administration experience.
  • Experience with QuickEye or similar digital blueprint and takeoff software.
  • Experience with Procore, BuildingConnected, or similar construction management and bidding platforms.
  • Spanish speaking is a plus.
  • Notary Public certification is a plus.
