Pay Rate: $35.00 - $40.00 / hour Duties: + Prepare accurate cost estimates for residential and commercial door and millwork construction projects + Review project specifications, drawings, and requirements to develop material and labor estimates + Collaborate with senior estimators, project managers, and other team members to ensure accuracy + Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and material availability + Maintain product knowledge and familiarity with computer systems + Assist with project planning and bidding processes + Develop and maintain customer relationships and respond to bid inquiries + Coordinate estimating with plant scheduling and review job cost data post-project for continuous improvement . Position Requirements: **Qualifications:** + Some prior experience in construction estimating or a related role preferred + Knowledge of doors, frames, hardware, and installation procedures + Ability to work with contractors and internal teams effectively + Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and high accuracy + Strong communication skills with management, customers, and vendors + Proficiency with computer applications such as Word and Excel + Integrity, result-oriented, and able to work under pressure + Willingness to learn and grow under the mentorship of an experienced estimator Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old., required education: HS Diploma or GED. Work Location: North Pacific Door Corporation, Kent, WA 98031. Job Types: Maintenance. Industry: Miscellaneous. The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $35.00 - $40.00 per hour.
