  • Collaborate with estimators, project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders throughout the preconstruction process.
  • Apply commercial construction knowledge across demolition, framing, drywall, finishes, storefront systems, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and equipment infrastructure.
  • Assist with estimating efforts for QSR, restaurant, retail, franchise, and tenant improvement construction projects operating on accelerated construction schedules.

Qualifications:

  • Experience estimating QSR, restaurant, retail, franchise, tenant improvement, commercial interior, or light commercial construction projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction drawings and specifications.
  • Experience preparing quantity take-offs and supporting subcontractor scope development and bid-leveling activities.
  • Working knowledge of CSI MasterFormat divisions and commercial construction means and methods.
  • Proficiency with digital take-off software such as Bluebeam Revu, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, Quick Bid, or similar estimating platforms.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, structured worksheets, and data management.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent estimates and meet firm bid deadlines in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for RFIs, scope clarifications, assumption logs, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to Maryland for company meetings and collaboration.
  • Must reside within the Central or Eastern United States.

Compensation:

  • Base salary in the 85k - 120k/year range
