What We’re Looking For

• Experience in structural steel, specialty contracting, commercial construction, or general contracting environments.
• Strong blueprint reading and construction knowledge.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Leadership and mentoring experience preferred for senior-level positions.

Early-career and experienced estimators who can manage project estimates, develop bid strategies, collaborate with customers and vendors, and contribute to winning profitable work.

Managers and leaders to partner directly with the VP of Sales & Estimating to coordinate estimating operations, mentor and develop estimating staff, establish best practices, support strategic business development efforts, and strengthen customer relationships. The Estimating Manager serves as a key link between estimating, sales, operations, and project management to help drive growth and execution excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bid proposals.
• Analyze plans, specifications, schedules, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and purchasing teams to obtain competitive pricing.
• Develop value engineering solutions and alternative pricing options.
• Collaborate with project management teams during project turnover and change management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, general contractors, architects, and industry partners.
• Partner with sales leadership to identify opportunities and support business development initiatives.
• Promote continuous improvement, technology adoption, and Estimating best practices.
