Construction Custodian

This position is responsible for creating cleaner and healthier environments for our customer's buildings and grounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Sweeping, vacuuming (including HEPA), dusting, wiping surfaces.
• Cleaning bathroom facilities.
• Construction debris removal & trash-outs.
• Detailed final clean: glass, frames, doors, baseboards, fixtures.
• Floor care: scrubbing and mopping (equipment provided).
• Adhesive/tape residue removal and spot cleaning.
• Cleaning around equipment (mechanical/electrical areas) with safety awareness.
• Climb and work from ladders (when needed) for elevated/overhead detail cleaning.
• Follow PPE and jobsite safety rules; use proper ladder and lift safety practices (pre-use inspection, barricades/spotter when required).

Basic Qualifications

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs.
• The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a must.
• Contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time.
• Treat all co-workers and customers with courtesy and respect.
• Will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, extended standing or walking on project sites, climbing in and out of equipment, and working in confined spaces or at heights. Work conditions and demands may vary, with possible exposure to heavy machinery, chemicals, dust, fumes, noise, and extreme weather. Proper PPE, including protective eyewear, gloves, a hard hat, and steel-toed boots, is required. Effective communication, tool use, and adherence to safety protocols are essential.
