Description

  • Assist in managing daily on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and enforce safety protocols on-site.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the project superintendent and stakeholders.
  • Review and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications to guide construction activities.
  • Resolve on-site issues and conflicts to minimize delays and maintain project momentum.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all work adheres to established standards.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including daily logs and progress reports.

Profile

A successful Construction Assistant Superintendent should have:

  • Experience in managing large-scale public construction projects, particularly those exceeding $50M.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, and project management principles.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution on-site.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools is a plus.

Job Offer

  • The Assistant Superintendent will receive:

    • Compensation $85K-$115K (based on experience)
    • Project Bonus: For on-time project completion
    • 100% employer-paid health insurance
    • 401k 3% match
    • 2 weeks vacation to start, plus 5 sick days and 2 personal days
