Description

The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for:

• Overseeing all field operations, ensuring work is completed according to project specifications and timelines.
• Coordinating, directing, and supervising subcontractors and direct labor on-site.
• Ensuring compliance with safety, schedule, quality control, and cost control standards.
• Developing and maintaining the site logistics plan, ensuring smooth operations across all aspects of the project.
• Assisting in developing, updating, and maintaining the overall project schedule.
• Leading weekly foreman and safety meetings to ensure team alignment and safety adherence.
• Attending and contributing to weekly owner meetings, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.

Profile

The right Assistant Superintendent has the following qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in the construction industry
• Ground-up or renovation experience on projects $20M+
• Ideally within public, academic, or K-12 construction
• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Massachusetts Unrestricted Supervisor's License
• Experience using Procore or other construction management software
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment

Job Offer

The Assistant Superintendent will receive:

• Compensation $85K-$110K (based on experience)
• Project Bonus: For on-time project completion
• 100% employer-paid health insurance
• 401k 3% match
• 2 weeks vacation to start, plus 5 sick days and 2 personal days
