We are seeking a full-cycle accounting professional who can manage both construction project accounting and manufacturing operations finance. This is an on-site role reporting directly to the Controller.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage full-cycle accounting: accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, and cash management
• Prepare and process AIA / progress billing (G702/G703) for construction projects
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain the general ledger
• Prepare and post journal entries including accruals, adjusting entries, and closing entries
• Maintain fixed asset schedules including depreciation and amortization
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain and control the trial balance
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Support job costing and billing milestone tracking at the project level
• Assist with cost accounting functions tied to manufacturing operations
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Demonstrated experience in construction accounting (project-based billing, WIP, percentage-of-completion)
• Hands-on experience with AIA billing (G702/G703) and progress billing procedures
• Full-cycle accounting proficiency: AP, AR, collections, reconciliations, and general ledger
• Experience preparing financial statements and controlling the trial balance
• Strong command of accrual-basis accounting and month-end close
• Experience with fixed asset schedules, depreciation, and related journal entries
• Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, or similar ERP)
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
PREFERRED (NICE TO HAVE)
• Prior experience as a Project Accountant
• Manufacturing cost accounting background
• WIP schedule management
• Bilingual: English / Spanish
• CPA or CPA candidate
