Construction Accountant
Columbus, Ohio (Hybrid)

$75,000-90,000 a year, Benefits, PTO, Holiday, etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage job cost accounting for 3–6 active projects
• Enter and track construction contracts, including adjustments for change orders
• Code invoices, monitor budget changes, and run construction cost reports
• Prepare lender draw packages and associated documentation
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with general accounting tasks as needed
• Work closely with project managers, development leads, and the accounting team to ensure accuracy and alignment
• Not a field role – no site visits required

• Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related
• 2+ years of experience in construction or development accounting
• Advanced knowledge of Procore
• Must be comfortable inputting budgets, managing change orders, and digging into system processes
• Understanding of the draw process, including lender documentation
• Strong Excel skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in building efficient systems
