The firm is recognized for its collaborative culture, strong commitment to excellence, and longstanding reputation in the corporate and financial sectors.Job DescriptionEssential responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Lead and oversee global conflicts operations, ensuring requests are prioritized, assigned, and completed accurately and within established timeframes.Serve as the primary escalation point for complex or sensitive conflicts matters, partnering with legal and compliance stakeholders as needed.Maintain high standards of search quality and operational consistency by reviewing work product, providing feedback, and reinforcing best practices across teams and offices.Manage analyst staffing, workflow distribution, and on-call coverage to support business needs across multiple offices, time zones, and peak-volume periods.Develop, document, and enhance conflicts procedures, training materials, templates, and escalation protocols to drive consistency and efficiency.Identify operational trends and opportunities for improvement, implementing process enhancements and controls to improve accuracy, service levels, and productivity.Lead, coach, and develop a team of conflicts analysts through onboarding, performance management, skills development, and ongoing training.Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, responsiveness, confidentiality, and strong client service.Perform and oversee conflict-of-interest searches and related research, including analysis of corporate structures, affiliations, naming variations, and new-client, new-matter, and lateral-hire reviews.Manage conflicts technology and data resources, including vendor relationships, issue resolution, data integrity initiatives, and continuous optimization of systems and workflows.The Successful ApplicantA successful Conflicts Manager should have:Bachelor's Degree required; JD or MLS degree is a plusMinimum 5 years of experience including conflicts experience at a top-ranked law firmMust have experience managing a team of multiple direct reportsExpert knowledge of conflicts management system (ie. iManage Conflicts Management (ICM), Intapp or similar)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsProven people-management skills, with the ability to coach and develop staff in a high-volume, deadline-driven environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders including senior leadership, attorneys and Office of General CounselDemonstrated initiative and ownership in improving workflows, documenting procedures, and ensuring adherence to Firm protocolsWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary ranging from $200,000 to $225,000 USDComprehensive medical/dental/vision coverageGenerous PTO package401(k) + employer contributionOpportunity to work within an elite global law firm
