GDLS is looking to hire a Supply Chain Operations Planning and Project Management Area Manager, the perfect place to challenge your Supply Chain manager skills.

• 9-80 Work Schedule: This positions standard work schedule is 9-8-0. The 9-8-0 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and Expect: Work as intermediary between program office, CM, design engineering, manufacturing engineering, and supply chain during change process.
• Manage date effective cut-ins on changes to Bill of Materials.
• Communicate any risk, schedule, cost impact related to change cut-in.
• Utilize drawing mark-ups, Oracle MRP program, CCBs, meetings, and buyer communication to determine effectivity and document within Teamcenter.
• Drive operational excellence and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Implement best practices in supply chain planning and management.

Qualifications Sought

• Bachelors degree required in Supply Chain or Business related discipline preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience across the product lifecycle (Development, Production, and Sustainment) preferred.
• Knowledge of business financials, Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Oracle MRP scheduling tools, and critical path analysis.
• Proven ability to lead, manage, and influence cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.
• This position may require eligibility to obtain a US security clearance. Non-US Citizens will not be eligible.
