This role serves as the primary liaison between clients and hotel departments to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional guest satisfaction.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesServe as the main point of contact for clients from contract turnover through event completionDetail all group events, meetings, banquets, and convention functions accurately and efficientlyConduct pre‑convention meetings with clients and internal hotel departmentsPrepare and distribute banquet event orders (BEOs), resumes, and event timelinesCoordinate with sales, catering, banquet, culinary, housekeeping, front office, and audiovisual teams to ensure successful event executionMonitor event setup, service delivery, and breakdown to ensure quality standards are metAssist the client in menu planning, coordinate food, beverage, table arrangements, and decorations ensuring clients' details are executedRespond promptly to client requests, questions, and last‑minute changesBuild strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfactionProvide exceptional customer service before, during, and after eventsManage room blocks, meeting space allocations, and special guest arrangementsEnsure all event details are communicated clearly to operational departmentsConduct site inspections and planning meetings with prospective and confirmed clientsResolve guest concerns and operational issues professionally and efficientlyTrack event revenue, billing, and final invoices in coordination with accountingMaintain knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and local attractionsEnsure compliance with hotel policies, safety regulations, and service standardsAssist with forecasting, reporting, and departmental administrative duties as neededResponsible for learning the hotel brand and strategyProvide prompt and accurate responses to all client requests for proposals and informationPerform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectivesEducation and SkillsHigh School Diploma/GED.
