The Banquet Sales & Catering Manager, supervised by the Director of Catering and Convention Services, is responsible for generating new banquet revenue and supporting department management.
Meet and exceed upsell revenue goals and maintain client relationships.
Coordinate sales bookings, create menus and proposals, and support cost control.
Support department leadership through coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
Assist in strategic planning, reviewing policies, and ensuring excellent guest service.
Maintain professional communication, manage multitasking efficiently, and uphold safety standards.
Qualifications include a degree (preferred), 2+ years catering sales experience, market knowledge, strong communication skills, and computer proficiency.
