Bobcat of Joplin / Bobcat of Springfield is an authorized dealer of new and used Bobcat compact construction equipment including skid steers, track loaders, compact excavators, telehandlers, utility vehicles and concrete construction supplies. We provide service both in the field and in our facility.
Bobcat of Joplin / Bobcat of Springfield is looking to fill the position of Concrete Supplies Territory Sales Manager. Candidate must live local to this region to provide zone coverage to the sales territory of Joplin and Springfield and further responsibilities of surrounding areas. Knowledge of our equipment / concrete supplies and experience in sales are preferred.
Responsibilities
Manage and develop existing customer accounts to ensure targeted sales growth
Develop long-term relationships with a portfolio of customers
Connect with key decision makers to fulfill their supply chain needs
Identify new target accounts that align with the company sales objectives
Develop these accounts through vertical integration and qualifying the supply chain opportunity
Liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products, tools, and equipment according to customer needs
Prioritize daily, weekly and monthly activities
Qualify leads and opportunities
Provide product and technical support
Implement sales strategies to capture more business
Maintain customer communication records
Qualifications
Concrete, Construction, or Building Materials industry sales experience strongly preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Be comfortable communicating with customers and making cold calls.
Excellent customer relations skills.
Strong communications skills with a strong work ethic with a high sense of urgency.
Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task often.
A team player with the drive to elevate the team’s performance.
A good working knowledge of sales techniques and methodologies.
Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office products, CRM experience a plus.
Ability to quickly acquire and maintain product knowledge (concrete and small equipment)
4-year degree preferred or 2-year degree with equivalent experience in the industry.
Must be able to pass a drug screen.
Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
Physical Requirements
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.
Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds
Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl
Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
