Qualifications and responsibilities for this Concrete Paving Superintendent position include:

• 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction with a self-performing background; oversee multiple crews performing roadway and infrastructure concrete paving operations.
• Experience with MDOT or public works projects; coordinate field activities and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
• Strong leadership and scheduling skills; manage crew schedules, coordinate daily operations, and ensure production goals are achieved.
• Experience supporting project management activities; assist with material orders, project scheduling, and overall project coordination.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as HCSS Heavy Bid, HCSS Heavy Job, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office; track production, labor hours, and project performance.
• Ability to review foreman timecards, monitor budget versus production, and ensure accurate reporting.
• Strong coordination with project managers, estimators, and field teams; attend job progress meetings and scheduling meetings as required.
• Ability to prepare takeoffs for materials and assist with estimating efforts when needed.

Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
