Qualifications and responsibilities for this Concrete Paving Foreman position include:

• 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction with a self-performing background; lead crews performing roadway, infrastructure, and public works concrete paving projects.
• Experience operating paving equipment; oversee and assist with equipment operation during paving operations as needed.
• Experience working on MDOT or large infrastructure projects; coordinate field activities to ensure production goals and quality standards are met.
• Ability to manage field crews and daily operations; review daily work goals and ensure each crew member understands assigned responsibilities.
• Strong documentation and communication skills; maintain daily reports, delivery tickets, cost codes, and coordinate closely with project managers and superintendents.
• Knowledge of traffic control and jobsite safety; ensure traffic control devices are properly placed and maintain compliance with safety requirements.
• Ability to oversee equipment care and jobsite organization; ensure equipment is fueled, maintained, secured, and the jobsite remains clean and organized.
• Strong coordination with inspectors, suppliers, and trucking companies; track concrete deliveries, materials, and quantities to support project progress.

Salary: $32 - $40 per hour, commensurate with experience.
