Job Title: Concrete Foreman (Commercial)

Pay Rate: $25–$32 per hour (based on experience)

Shift: 1st Shift (hours may vary based on project needs)

Location: Projects throughout West Michigan

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead crews on commercial concrete projects throughout West Michigan. This role is hands-on and requires strong leadership, advanced concrete finishing skills, and a solid construction background. The Concrete Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily jobsite activities, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining safety standards, and completing projects efficiently and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and motivate a concrete crew on commercial job sites

• Perform hands-on concrete finishing work including:

• Flatwork

• Walls

• Decorative concrete

• Build, set, and strip concrete forms

• Layout and install reinforcing steel (rebar)

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications

• Coordinate daily work activities and assign tasks to crew members

• Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and production standards

• Communicate effectively with project managers and other trades

• Monitor job progress and adjust crew activities as needed

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite

• Assist with training and mentoring crew members

• Reliable transportation to job sites across West Michigan

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Work Environment

• Outdoor and indoor commercial construction sites

• Exposure to varied weather conditions

• Physical demands include lifting, bending, standing, and working with hand and power tools

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
