Places, pours, and finishes concrete to specification
Compensation: $20-$35 depending on experience. PW jobs available.
Duties
- Execute tasks and activities as directed, in accordance with plans and specifications provided by the Superintendent
- Spread concrete to specified depth and workable consistency
- Levels, smooths, and shapes surfaces of freshly poured concrete
- Removes rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces
- Provides on-the-job training for company apprentices and new employees.
- Typically performs concrete and limited carpenter duties.
- Ensures compliance with quality and production standards established by the superintendent’s task plans.
- Fosters a positive attitude within the crew.
- Watches for compliance with safety policies.
- Keeps jobsite clean and free of debris as needed for a safe environment.
- Inform superintendent of upcoming needs for materials.
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities as directed by superintendent.
