We're seeking a motivated Field Engineer / Project Engineer to support commercial concrete construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with project managers, superintendents, and field teams while developing expertise in project coordination, scheduling, quality control, and construction operations.

Description
- Support Project Managers and Superintendents in the planning and execution of commercial concrete construction projects.
- Assist with project scheduling, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and material tracking.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure field accuracy.
- Coordinate RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
- Perform quantity takeoffs, production tracking, and cost monitoring.
- Conduct field inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and project specifications.
- Monitor project progress and assist with schedule updates and reporting.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all project sites.
- Build relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
- Support project closeout activities, including punch lists and final documentation.
Profile
- 0-5 years of construction experience, preferably with a commercial general contractor or concrete contractor.
- Internship or co-op experience in commercial construction is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or scheduling software is a plus.
- Willingness to spend significant time in the field and travel locally between project sites as needed.
