Position Summary:

The Concessions Stand Lead oversees the operation of the stand location. Responsible for ensuring quality of products and accurate preparation of all food and beverage items as listed; overseeing and participating in set-up and closing procedures and paperwork (basic math skills); and resolving problems with the assistance of a manager. Previous experience in a fast-paced, food service, supervisory position is preferred. 

 

This role will pay an hourly rate of $16.00-$17.00.

CFG Bank Arena is home to some of the most iconic concerts and shows to ever perform live. Recently, it underwent a massive $200+ million renovation that completely transformed Baltimore's iconic arena into a modernized entertainment and hospitality destination. CFG Bank Arena was just recently named the 4th Highest Grossing Venue Worldwide in venues at 10,001-15,000 capacity by Billboard.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for leading the service of food and beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages. Must check guest’s ID to verify minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
  • Lead the setup of the stand locations.
  • Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
  • Show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
  • Assures that the location equipment is operable and clean prior to the start of the event.
  • Responsible for recognizing guests that are visibly intoxicated and taking action to cut off alcohol to such individuals
  • All other duties as assigned by the managers.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to lead the work of others.
  • Previous experience in a concessions position highly desired.
  • Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Possess valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.
