This ONSITE position located in Powell, Wyoming, and installs, maintains, supports and/or repairs computer systems, hardware, and software, campus-wide or in Instructional Technology sector. Duties could include the coordinating, scheduling, and training of technicians, student employees, and interns.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties
Supervises and participates in the maintenance of personal computers in multiple computer labs and on multiple campuses, which includes implementing securing procedures and planning for future equipment requirements and lab modifications or rebuilds.
Performs advanced diagnostic analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of computing problems, including multiple-level software conflicts.
Researches and recommendations the procurement of hardware, software, equipment, materials, and related items from available vendors; prepares applicable specifications and requests for quotes.
Supervises and participates in the installation, troubleshooting, and security of all desktop computing systems, including prioritizing the needs of staff, faculty, and students.
Administers and maintains applicable computer network, which includes implementing security procedures and planning for future equipment requirements.
Maintains system configurations and hardware and software inventories.
Monitors software and licensing on computers and related equipment.
Prepares, reviews, interprets, and analyzes a variety of information, data, and reports; makes recommendations based on findings.
Provides advanced level system support to users.
Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
Required Training and Experience
Associate Degree or two-year technical certificate in Computer Science or computer operations related field, and at least three years of experience in installing, maintaining, supporting, and/or repairing computer systems, hardware, and software, one of which was in a lead worker or supervisory role; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.

Positions in this class typically require: climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, lifting, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Incumbents may be subjected to electrical currents, dusts, poor ventilation, work space restrictions, weekend and evening work, and travel.
