Position Overview: CG Infinity is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level Computer Technician to join our team in Sugar Land, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in computer hardware, troubleshooting, and customer service. This position offers hands-on experience with desktops, laptops, peripherals, and network support in a dynamic business setting.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for desktop and laptop systems, including installation, configuration, imaging, and maintenance
Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues for Windows-based systems
Assist in setting up and maintaining office network equipment, printers, monitors, and other peripherals
Respond to and resolve help desk tickets efficiently while maintaining accurate documentation
Support user account management, password resets, and basic network troubleshooting
Collaborate with senior IT staff to deploy hardware upgrades and support IT infrastructure projects
Ensure adherence to company IT security policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
Basic knowledge of PC hardware components, operating systems, and common applications
Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 environment
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced IT environment
Preferred Skills:
CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certification
Experience with Active Directory, imaging tools, or remote support platforms
