About the Role: The Lunenburg Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and skilled Computer Technician to support our growing 1:1 technology program. This position is responsible for the deployment, repair, and maintenance of Chromebooks used by students and staff, ensuring devices are fully functional and updated to meet educational or operational needs.
Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair hardware issues on Chromebook devices (screens, batteries, keyboards, etc.) Perform software troubleshooting and OS reinstallation on Chrome OS Manage device inventory using tools like Google Admin Console Support end-users (students, teachers, staff) with Chromebook-related issues Prepare and configure Chromebooks for deployment (enrollment, asset tagging) Track repairs and replacements, maintaining accurate records and documentation Collaborate with IT staff to implement device policies and ensure security compliance Assist in managing peripheral devices (chargers, carts, keyboards)
