This opportunity supports a government contractJob Description: We are looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the Computer Support Specialist position and to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. We have an immediate opening for a Computer Support Specialist to join our rapidly growing team. The Computer Support Specialist works with a larger team to ensure customers' computing platforms are correctly configured and optimized for operations. Under general supervision, performs analytical, technical and administrative work in the planning, design and installation of new and existing personal computer systems. Works on moderately complex applications. Confers with end users to determine types of hardware and software required. May maintain or utilize telecommunications protocols. Installs new hardware and maintains existing hardware. Trains end users in the use of equipment and software.Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):Provide excellent customer serviceProvide technical support and troubleshooting for computer systems, software, and hardware, including operating system configuration, user account management, and backup and recovery processesInstall, configure, and maintain end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, and scannersPerform hands-on installation, repair, and maintenance for issues that cannot be resolved remotelyEngage with users to assess organizational needs and provide guidance on processes, procedures, and best practicesMaintain clear, professional communication with customers to ensure timely resolution and foster strong working relationshipsEnsure all support activities are performed in compliance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs)Apply information security principles and adhere to established security policies, protocols, and standardsRequirements:DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+)A DoDM 8140.03 Advanced Level Certification prior to the government-mandated deadline.
