Summary:
This position involves providing onsite deskside Tier 2 support. The role requires a mix of desk work and shop floor activities, with some travel between local facilities. The candidate will work primarily on deploying and upgrading computers, as well as maintaining and disposing of IT assets.

Responsibilities:

Deploy new computers to replace outdated systems.
Upgrade systems from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
Image computers and dispose of outdated assets.
Maintain and update records in Asset Center and follow knowledge base articles for problem resolution.
Communicate effectively via email and maintain basic documents/records.
Recognize and resolve problems with pre-established solutions, and report issues outside the scope of established procedures.
Maintain equipment, supplies, and data supporting processes or operations.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of computing and networking concepts and fundamentals.
Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office, and navigate intranet and internet functions.
Familiarity with computer security policies and general computer security concepts.
1 year or more of IT experience preferred, but recent college graduates will be considered.

Strong software skills, including proficiency in PowerShell and Python.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $25.00 - $25.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
