    Job Description:

    CFD Research Corporation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Computer Scientist to support NASA at NASA Ames Research Center (ARC) in Moffett Field, California. This full-time position supports the Aircraft Systems and Spaceflight Engineering Support Services (ASSESS) contract and the Systems Analysis Office at NASA ARC.

    About the Project:

    NASA ARC is seeking support for its development of Mission Analysis Design with uncertainty.

    Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrate the Cobra C++ OpenVSP custom component in a gradient optimization problem using CBAERO-adjoint solver within the NASA Ames Opensource Condor Optimization software.

    Desired Skills:

    • Prior experience with and knowledge of Condor, Gascon is highly preferred.
    • Strong experience with Git repository, C++, and Python required.

    Required Qualifications:

    • B.S. Degree in Computer Science
    • Demonstrated experience in Python programing.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
