Computer Repair Technician - 1st Shift

The Job Center is hiring Computer Repair Technicians for UPS - K12 in Louisville, Kentucky. This is a great opportunity for candidates with hands-on laptop or desktop repair experience looking for long-term growth in a fast-paced warehouse environment!

Job Summary

Repair, upgrade, and process computer equipment
Handle shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks
Maintain accuracy and quality standards in a warehouse setting

Pay & Benefits

$17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

Repair and upgrade laptops and desktop computers
Disassemble and reassemble computer hardware
Process shipping and receiving documentation
Package, label, and ship products
Maintain inventory using barcode scanners
Unload trucks and organize incoming shipments
Follow safety procedures and hygiene standards
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Prior computer or laptop repair experience required
Hands-on experience taking apart and rebuilding computers
Mechanical aptitude and technical skills
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Must pass background check (no theft, violence, or sexual offenses)
Willingness to work overtime as needed

Work Environment & Requirements

No phones allowed on the warehouse floor
Long hair must be tied back for safety
Dress code: T-shirt, jeans/khakis, sneakers
Standing and physical activity required throughout shift

Schedule

Monday - Friday
6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Mandatory overtime as needed
