Now hiring: Computer Repair Technician

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Day Shift: 7:30 AM-4 PM | Monday-Friday

What it Takes to Diagnose, Repair, and Rebuild (Requirements):

  • Experience or familiarity with PC, laptop, or electronics repair required
  • Basic understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in both hands-on repair and documentation
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a high-volume environment
  • Comfortable working in a technical, production-based setting
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical/electronic aptitude
  • Ability to stay organized while managing multiple devices and repair tasks
  • Interest in technology lifecycle management, refurbishment, and sustainable tech solutions

Where You Bring Tech Back to Life (Job Duties):

  • Inspect and evaluate incoming desktops, laptops, printers, and server equipment for condition and functionality
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hardware, software, and peripheral issues
  • Disassemble, sort, and refurbish computer systems and electronic components for reuse
  • Install and configure operating systems, drivers, and basic software as needed
  • Document device condition, repair actions, and system configurations in an inventory tracking system
  • Support technology lifecycle management efforts by extending the usability of electronic equipment
  • Work in a fast-paced, production-style environment while maintaining accuracy and quality standards
  • Ensure all repaired equipment meets functional and quality expectations before release
