We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures that assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. The CT Technologist will operate advanced imaging equipment, produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensure patient safety and comfort, and maintain compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (R.T. (R)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT)) required
ARRT Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certification required
Advanced CT certification required where applicable
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
Venipuncture certification preferred
Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures, anatomy, radiation safety, and patient care
Perform computed tomography (CT) examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.
Operate CT imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation.
Prepare, position, and educate patients before imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety.
Perform general radiography and other imaging procedures as required.
Utilize PACS and imaging systems to process, review, and transfer diagnostic images.
Administer contrast media when authorized and monitor patients during procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Perform routine equipment maintenance, quality assurance, and inventory management.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, radiation safety, infection prevention, and organizational policies.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
