Position Title Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program CPSP ClinicianDepartment MedicalBehavioral HealthReports to Behavioral Health DirectorPosition Summary Implement and promote a program of CPSP services in a community clinic setting including but not limited to psychosocial assessment diagnostic services individual psychotherapy and case managementcoordination with medical providers in order to address the social emotional relational and environmental issues that can affect pregnancy. The clinic population is largely Spanish-speaking low-income andor pregnant women. The CPSP clinician will provides a range of psychosocial assessments diagnostic therapeutic and care coordination services for pregnant women as appropriate to the specific expectations of the position.ResponsibilitiesPerform initial mental health assessment of clients.Conduct individual and group therapy as determined appropriate.Provide crisis response to walk in pregnant women andor patients as necessary in conjunction with medical providers to encourage compliance with medical and prenatal regimes.Promote inter-departmental communication to ensure efficient coordination of services.Develop informational materials for educational purposes.Acts as a liaison between health education welfare and other community agencies to establish an integrated and coordinated program.Maintains accurate and appropriate records of all patient interventions and follow ups.Completes timely and accurate documentation.Fully participate in staff development opportunities offered to enhance professional growth especially to maintain license certification or identified program performance skills.Attend on and off-site collaborations and community meetings on behalf of Clinica Romero as the CPSP representative and report back to the Nursing andor Behavioral Health director and team.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsLicensed clinician LCSW or MFT with the BBSRegistered Associate ACSW or AMFT with the BBSBilingual English Spanish required - Speaking and writing skillsAt least 1 year of CPSP experience preferred or 2 years as a clinicianExcellent leadership collaborative team building skillsMicrosoft Office general knowledgeAble to work and communicate effectively with people of diverse culture education and economic background.
