This role supports employee onboarding and compliance efforts across multiple departments within a busy hospital system. Job Description:
The Compliance Specialist will coordinate onboarding and compliance scheduling for new healthcare employees. This includes setting up clinical and occupational health appointments, conducting virtual onboarding sessions, and tracking documentation to ensure files meet regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working across multiple systems and teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and manage onboarding compliance appointments for new hires
- Conduct virtual meetings to explain required screenings and documentation
- Follow up with staff and occupational health to confirm completion of requirements
- Reschedule and track missed or incomplete appointments
- Work across multiple departments and systems while maintaining attention to detail
- Serve as a first point of contact for onboarding compliance questions
- Maintain detailed logs and ensure all compliance steps are completed on time
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of administrative, compliance, or scheduling experience (healthcare preferred)
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage high-volume workflows
- Proficient with multiple systems and comfortable learning new technologies
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills
- Stable work history or relevant recent graduate experience
- Comfortable in a hospital environment with minimal training support
- Must be professional, reliable, and patient-facing when needed
Additional Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
- Flexible start times: 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 8:30 AM, or 9:00 AM
- Training period: Full-time onsite (start between 8:00–8:30 AM)
- Work Setup:
- Fully onsite for training (approx. 5 weeks)
- Eligible for 1–2 remote days/week after onboarding period
