If you're detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working with greater independence, this is your opportunity to expand your expertise and make a meaningful impact in a dynamic compliance environment.
This is an on-site position in Temple, TX. Candidates are expected to reside within a 50-mile radius of the office.
What You'll Do:
Monitor and analyze state and local legislation, regulations, and ordinances impacting regulated products, and evaluate their impact on operations.

Support regulatory reporting, including PACT Act filings and DBA/fictitious name applications.
Conduct audits, maintain compliance trackers, and ensure accurate recordkeeping across compliance activities.
Perform compliance reviews on customers to assess risk and ensure proper licensing.
Assist in training Compliance Specialist I team members and contribute to department knowledge sharing.
What We're Looking For:
Associate degree or some college preferred.
Minimum of 2+ years of business experience, ideally in a regulated environment.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work independently with moderate supervision.
Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret regulatory information.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to recommend process improvements.
This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
