Compliance Specialist / Entry Level Credit Analyst

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or 3 years related experience working with vendors or dealerships and/or processing/reviewing/auditing consumer or commercial loans including secured, unsecured, auto, mortgage, etc. Identifies documentation loan level conditions/exceptions and assists with determining resolutions and potential solutions with underwriting.

Up to $58,000
Monday – Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Job Duties:

• Processing credit applications and analyzing credit/account information.
• Quality assurance and verifying accuracy of customer information.
• Ensures that all loan documentation is accurate and in compliance.
• Identifies documentation loan level conditions/exceptions and assists with determining resolutions and potential solutions with underwriting.
• Ensures closing file is compliant with internal requirements.
• Serves as a point of contact for all escalated items related to the department.
• Ensures all appropriate turn times and service levels are met relative to documentation received.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Demonstrates a strong understanding of underwriting or loan processing
• Has experience reviewing business financial statements to include tax returns for both the individual as well as the business.
• Sales experience in commercial or consumer finance or working as a liaison to underwriting.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy skills
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Administrative support experience in banking or financial services
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, employees, and borrowers

EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or 3 years related experience working with vendors or dealerships and/or processing/reviewing/auditing consumer or commercial loans including secured, unsecured, auto, mortgage, etc. required. 5+ years related credit or accounting work experience in a lending environment preferred.
