POSITION SUMMARY:

The Compliance Manager develops, implements, and oversees programs ensuring adherence to federal/state laws (like HIPAA, Medicare, Medi-Cal), manages risk, conducts audits, leads training, handles audits/investigations, develops policies, and acts as liaison with regulators, ensuring ethical operations and protecting the organization from penalties. Key duties involve policy creation, training staff (especially on privacy/security), managing compliance audits (internal/external), investigating issues, and reporting to leadership, focusing heavily on patient care regulations and managed care requirements

  • Five (5) years in medical environment, preferably in acute care hospital
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certified Compliance Professional (CCP), Certified Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or Certified Compliance Officer (CCO)

Position Pay Range: $83,100.00 - $115,560.00/Annual Salary

Please note that actual pay will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please also note this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state.
