Position Summary

We are seeking a Compliance & Legal Affairs Manager to oversee regulatory compliance, contract review, and risk management across all areas of our operations. This role ensures the company adheres to applicable laws and standards including export control, environmental regulations, quality systems, and employment practices.


Key Responsibilities

1. Contract & Legal Review

  • Review, draft, and negotiate customer, vendor, and partner agreements
  • Identify legal and business risks; propose practical mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel when needed

2. Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with export control regulations
  • Oversee environmental and safety compliance
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory changes impacting operations

3. Quality & Operational Compliance

  • Align with quality standards
  • Support documentation control and audit readiness

5. HR & Employment Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and employment regulations
  • Review HR policies, employee agreements, and disciplinary processes
  • Lead compliance training for employees

6. Cross-Functional Support

  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on compliance and risk matters
  • Support international business activities and licensing requirements


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; JD or legal background preferred
  • 7+ years experience in compliance, legal operations, or regulatory roles
  • Strong knowledge of ITAR/EAR
  • Experience with contracts and business agreements
  • Familiarity with ISO standards, environmental, and HR compliance
  • Ability to translate legal requirements into practical business actions
