Location: Maryland (Rotating between office locations within approximately 60 minutes of Columbia, MD)
Compensation: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Administrative Assistant to support our compliance and reporting operations throughout the Maryland market.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys administrative work, data tracking, compliance reporting, and working independently while ensuring accuracy and meeting critical deadlines. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining regulatory compliance while supporting operational needs across multiple locations.

Position Overview

The Compliance Administrative Assistant supports compliance and reporting operations by preparing, reviewing, and submitting required documentation to local police departments and other government agencies. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate records, tracking data in Google Sheets, ensuring all compliance deadlines are met, and providing administrative support to on-site teams as needed.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating professionally with external agencies while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule & Travel Requirements

  • Full-time position supporting multiple office locations throughout Maryland

  • Rotating schedule between approximately 10 offices located within a 60-minute drive of Columbia, Maryland

  • Show operation hours are typically Monday-Friday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM or Tuesday-Saturday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

  • Schedule rotates based on business needs

  • Availability to work 2-3 Saturdays per month is required

  • Reliable transportation required

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and submit compliance reports to local police departments and other law enforcement agencies

  • Maintain accurate compliance records, data logs, and supporting documentation

  • Utilize Google Sheets for data tracking, reporting, and spreadsheet management

  • Communicate with law enforcement agencies, municipal offices, and government entities to confirm reporting requirements and submission processes

  • Ensure compliance deadlines are met and all reports are completed accurately

  • Identify, investigate, and correct data discrepancies prior to submission

  • Maintain organized records and documentation for compliance purposes

  • Support on-site teams with administrative and compliance-related tasks as needed

  • Assist with process improvements and compliance tracking initiatives

  • Perform additional administrative duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant, Compliance Coordinator, Compliance Specialist, Reporting Specialist, or similar administrative role

  • Strong proficiency in Google Sheets, including data entry, formulas, spreadsheet management, and reporting

  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfortable interacting with government agencies, law enforcement offices, and external stakeholders

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Experience working with compliance reporting, regulatory documentation, law enforcement records, or government agencies is a plus
