Position Summary / Career Interest:
The Compensation Analyst is responsible for administration of the Health System''s compensation program and administrative processes. These responsibilities include doing market research, developing and reviewing salary ranges, job families and salary structure methodology; advising on salary offers for new hires and internal transfers/promotions, approval and revision of compensation-related transactions in the manager self-service software program, analyzing market salary data and internal equity and making adjustment recommendations, and evaluating FLSA classification, and pricing jobs This position is also a advisor and partner for management and leadership on projects such as departmental compensation analysis/structure, career path development, and revisions to new and existing job descriptions. This position prepares and conducts market salary surveys works extensively in the Health System''s HRIS programs, setting up new jobs, approving compensation, and other processes, and in our MarketPay survey database. Other responsibilities include: preparing, reviewing, and implementing the annual market-based pay adjustments for union and general employee populations; administration of career ladder programs, compensation operating guidelines, incentive programs, and shift differential and supplemental pay programs.
