The Community Support Specialist works one-on-one with individuals with disabilities providing support and coordination for activities of daily living such as: • community participation • hobbies and recreational activities • banking and budgeting support • vocational training and searches • health safety and wellness • household management • adaptive living skills
The CSP helps their clients maintain independence and participate in the community to the fullest extent possible (this is NOT a residential group home position).
$17.00 - $21.00 Per Hour (depending on experience) Mileage Reimbursement Daily Pay Option Paid Training (no experience needed) $1000 Employee Referral Bonus
Schedule: Part time hours (20-25 hours per week) available.
Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older with a High School Diploma or GED Possess a valid drivers license with a good driving record Reliable vehicle and current auto insurance The ability to pass a background check through the MN Dept. of Human Services, as well as a motor vehicle record check Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic computer skills Must be comfortable and confident working independently without direct supervision
