The Community Support Coordinator assists the Community Support Supervisor in providing day-to-day, non-emergency assistance and convenience-based services to residents. This role maintains a visible and approachable presence throughout the community while supporting resident needs, assisting with routine requests, and contributing to the overall upkeep of shared spaces through observation, reporting, and coordination.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide non-emergency, convenience-based assistance to residents, supporting everyday needs in a professional, responsive, and service-oriented manner
Maintain a consistent, visible presence throughout the community, engaging with residents and supporting a positive and approachable environment
Assist with routine service requests such as basic vehicle support (e.g., jump starts using approved equipment), package placement, and other general assistance within role scope
Support community upkeep by observing and reporting maintenance needs, debris, or infrastructure concerns, and communicating with appropriate teams for follow-up
Monitor shared spaces, trails, and amenities for general conditions and report any concerns related to cleanliness, functionality, or appearance
Assist with the organization and readiness of department vehicles and equipment, including maintaining supply levels and reporting replenishment needs
Accurately document service requests, observations, and daily activities in accordance with department processes
Communicate effectively with Supervisors, team members, and other departments to support coordination and timely resolution of needs
REQUIREMENTS
Quali?cations & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be at least 18 years old
Effective communication skills, equipped to deal with all levels of personnel and general public in a professional and effective manner
Possession of a current Driver’s License with no major offenses
Intermediate computer and mobile device skills
Excellent customer service while remaining courteous at all times
Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently
Comfortable working in various environments
Flexibility to work days, nights and weekend in rotating shifts
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical requirements can vary, but generally, they may include:
Lifting: Ability to; climb, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, lift and carry up to 50 lbs,
Mobility: Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions
Working conditions: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events.
Personal protective gear: Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required depending on tasks, such as gloves, safety glasses, or high-visibility apparel.
Manual Dexterity: Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices.
Driving: Ability to operate a vehicle to perform certain job functions. (Please note: We will request and review an MVR at the time of hire and on a periodic basis thereafter to ensure that employees maintain a satisfactory driving status.)
