As a Community Service Officer, youll provide essential support to sworn officers through a combination of field work, problem-solving, and community engagement. Whether youre assisting officers, responding to non-emergency calls, conducting traffic and parking enforcement, or supporting community events, youll play an important role in delivering exceptional service to the public.
Youll work alongside a dedicated team of professionals while gaining valuable experience in law enforcement support and public service. The Orono Police Department proudly serves the City of Orono and its contract cities of Spring Park, Minnetonka Beach, and Mound, helping keep these communities safe, connected, and welcoming.
