    Community Pharmacy Technician Port Townsend Pharmacy Location Announcement 329754

    Jefferson Healthcare is looking for a full-time Community Pharmacy Technician to join our wonderful team of professionals.

    This role is responsible for:

    • Administering immunizations
    • Reviewing and interpreting prescriptions
    • Medical reconciliation for patients
    • Preparing medications for dispensing
    • Verifying medication orders

    This position will support our pharmacy and hospital expansion project by collaborating closely with inpatient care teams. In addition, it is expected to:

    • Maintain accurate records
    • Manage inventory
    • Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals

    What youll need:

    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • Washington State Pharmacy Technician Certification in good standing required
    • One year of hospital and/or retail pharmacy technician experience preferred
    • Must continually maintain PTCB or ExCPT National Certification
    • Experience using EPIC preferred
    • Proficiency administering pharmacy-based immunizations
    • BLS Certification required within 3 months of hire
    • Must stay current in knowledge base, certifications, and licenses indicated above and meet Hospital-mandated education requirements

    Schedule:

    • 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week)
    • Variable Schedule (8-hour shifts)
